Product information "Zeppelin NT, Schneider commemorative flight from Ulm - document, Germany"
The Zeppelin NT "Baden-Württemberg" also transported mail on its commemorative flight on the occasion of the "200 years Schneider von Ulm" anniversary. The receipts are franked with the stamp Individuell "Schneider von Ulm" and were postmarked in Friedrichshafen on the day of the post flight - 4 June 2011. The authenticity of the receipt and the transport by airship are confirmed by the glued on-board seal of the Zeppelin NT. Albrecht Ludwig Berblinger, the "Schneider of Ulm", attempted a flight over the Danube on May 31, 1811. Since there was no updraft over the water that could have carried it, it landed roughly in the Danube. It was not until 175 years later that a replica proved that his flying machine was absolutely airworthy.
