Zeppelin NT document from the first flight to Finland. Due to the weather, the start of the first flight over the Baltic Sea was delayed, so that the airship took off for Finland on May 1st. The flight led over the center of Stockholm, the Aland Islands to the Finnish airport Jämijärvi, where the airship was enthusiastically welcomed by a few hundred spectators. The landing is confirmed by the Finnish day stamp on the back.
April 15, 2013 is likely to be a historic date in the history of the Zeppelin NT, because on this day it started on one of its largest expeditions of all. As part of the EU-wide Pegasos research flights, the journey led to Finland, which is almost 2000 km away.
