Zeppelin NT, Christmas mail 2012 - receipt, Switzerland

On November 8th, 2122 the Zeppelin NT "Bodensee" transported the 15th Zeppelin NT Christmas mail. The receipt was franked with the Swiss Christmas stamp "Lichterkette" and postmarked with a special postmark from Engelburg (Canton St. Gallen). The authenticity of the receipt and the transport by airship are confirmed by the affixed on-board seal. This was provided with the imprint of the airship's on-board stamp and stamped with the date of transport.
On the last passenger flight of the Zeppelin NT "Bodensee" in 2012, the Christmas mail 2012 was transported in favor of the Pestalozzi Children's Village Wahlwies. The flight led from Friedrichshafen via Mainau Island to Meersburg and Konstanz. At 2.30 p.m. the passengers were changed during a stopover in Friedrichshafen. The Zeppelin NT then flew via Langenargen over Lake Constance to Altenrhein in Switzerland. There the mailbag was unloaded during a short stopover. The flight then continued over the Bregenz Bay to St. Gallen and back to Friedrichshafen via Arbon.
