On March 4, 1936, the Zeppelin LZ 129's first workshop trip took place. This zeppelin was later christened HINDENBURG. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary, the Zeppelin NT "Baden-Württemberg" carried out a flight on March 5, 2011 that also transported mail.
The receipt bears the special stamp "75 years record flight Elly Beinhorn " franked. The stamp shows an airplane and the portrait of the sports pilot Elly Beinhorn (1907-2007).
The stamp was canceled with the special cancellation from Friedrichshafen with the pictorial representation of the Zeppelin LZ 129.
The illustration shows the LZ 129 over the Lake Constance landscape in connection with inscriptions on the issue and the technical data of the airship.
