Product information "Zeppelin NT, 24-hour continuous flight - document, Germany"
On March 23, 2010, at 10:20 am, the Zeppelin NT "Baden-Württemberg" took off on a 24-hour test flight. The zeppelin transported a mailbag with receipts. These are franked with the German stamp Individuell "Zeppelin NT", canceled on March 24th, the day of the landing, with the day stamp Friedrichshafen. The authenticity of the receipt and the transport with the Zeppelin are confirmed by the affixed on-board seal.
This 24-hour flight was part of a development project by Zeppelin Airship Technology, which aims to extend the flight range. In the future, for example, larger transfer routes will be the core of two additional tanks, each with 700 liters, which will be installed in the passenger gondola. On the test flight, the Zeppelin NT covered a total of 1,450 km.
