Product information "Stamp & quot; KEETMANSHOOP & quot; - Field post letter from the Hottentot uprising, German South West Africa"
This field post service letter with postmark "KEETMANSHOOP" dated May 4, 1907 is from the time of the Hottentot uprising, addressed to the Imperial High Command of the Schutztruppe in Berlin. The arrival stamp on the back, dated June 3rd of the same year, confirms that the mail has been passed through correctly. The Feldpostbrief posted in Keetmanshoop bears the extremely rare hectographed text "By Postreiter Feldpostbrief" and also shows the soldier's postmark of the Südetappenintendantur. Additionally a current certificate with photograph from Ronald F. Steuer.
