Soccer world championships: Sepp Herberger and Helmut Schön - stamp block mint never hinged, catalog

Wonderful block from Paraguay in memory of the winning of the soccer world championships in 1954 and 1974 by the German national soccer team.

The block contains an airmail stamp of 15 Gs. with the portrait of the coaches of the German soccer teams that won the world championship: Sepp Herberger (world championship 1954) and Helmut Sch & ouml; n (world championship 1974).

On the edge of the block the coat of arms of the Republic of Paraguay, the emblem of the German Football Association and the emblem of the Football World Cup Argentina 1978.

Also facsimile Signatures from Sepp Herberger and Helmut Sch & ouml; n as well as the dates and results of the finals of the 1954 and 1974 World Championships.

The block appeared in a consecutively numbered edition of a total of 5,000 copies (1,000 of which were imprinted with MUESTRA ).

It was sold with a surcharge of 5 Gs. in favor of the construction of the national monument.
