This mint block of stamps from St. Vincent & Grenadines was issued on November 28, 2012. The pad contains four postage stamps valued at $ 3.50 each. The stamps show different reptiles.

The stamps in this block of stamps show the following reptiles:

The dwarf gecko reaches a maximum total length of approx. 9 cm. They have a bright yellow color on their head and neck, which is traversed by a dark brown to black line pattern. The rest of the body is colored blue-gray and covered with light and dark ocellular spots. The belly is yellow in color, the throat is almost completely black.

The hawksbill turtle is a sea turtle . It is a maximum of 90 cm long and reaches a maximum weight of 75 kg. The head of the animals is very narrow and thus resembles that of a bird of prey. The adults are usually black to dark brown and have yellowish and light brown, sometimes also reddish spots and bandages.

The Bahamaanolis is an iguana . With a body length of up to 18 centimeters (males) or 17 centimeters (females), the Bahama anole is one of the small anole species . The Bahama anole is somewhat larger in comparison to the red throat anole and especially the males appear much more massive than their relatives from their physique. The males have a strongly pronounced throat pouch that can be set up for courtship, as a display, threatening gestures or for sunbathing. The female has a minimally formed throat pouch.

The Mona Boa reaches a head-torso-l & auml; length of about 80 cm. The body weight of females is between < span title = "#### 5 ####"> 120-200 g and for males 70-100 g. The Mona Boa feeds mainly on small mammals and young birds. Mating takes place from February to May. < / span>
