Product information "Postage stamp Queen Victoria, block of four catalog number 8, mint never hinged, Heligoland"

Exceptionally rare block of four of catalog number 8 from the Heligoland collection area. It is a 1/4 Schilling stamp, issued on August 10, 1873 with an edition of only 15,000 copies. The 1/4 Schilling postage stamp was supposed to serve as a supplement to the postcard forms that were in stock at every post office. We offer this Helgoland rarity including detailed photo certificate .

As the examiner Jens Müller writes, the stamps have full original gum, whereby the two upper stamps have one Have fold or fold remnants. In his certificate he writes "The block of four is in good condition, the upper pair having a support fold in the middle and the stamp at the top right with a small scrape". The Deutschland-Spezial-Katalog rates an unstamped block of four with catalog number 8 a at 2,200 euros, an evaluation of a mint never hinged block of four does not exist at the moment.
