This is pure railway romance! The Individuell brand appeared on the occasion of the anniversary "125 years of the narrow-gauge railway in the Harz" and shows one of the steam locomotives traveling on this route. There are a total of three railways, the preservation of which has created a tourist attraction in the Harz Mountains. They are a technical monument, a means of transport for goods traffic and a real means of transport for local traffic. Individual brand "125 years of narrow-gauge railway in the Harz I", stamped
The Harzer Schmalspurbahnen GmbH (HSB) in Wernigerode is a railway company that operates an approximately 140 km long network of mostly steam-powered narrow-gauge lines in the Harz. Today it is the longest contiguous, steam-powered route network in Europe. This network with a gauge of 1000 mm (meter gauge) consists of three routes: Harzquerbahn, Selketalbahn and Brockenbahn. The first letters of the routes also result in the abbreviation of the railway company - HSB. Three of the six terminal stations, Nordhausen Nord, Quedlinburg and Wernigerode have a connection to the Deutsche Bahn AG network. In addition to the Brohltalbahn and the Wangerooger Inselbahn, the Harz narrow-gauge railways are now one of the last three narrow-gauge railways with freight traffic in Germany.
