Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1st, 1961 in Norfolk, England. From 1981 to 1996 she was the first wife of the British heir to the throne Charles, Crown Princess of the United Kingdom. The sons Wiliam and Henry come from the marriage. Diana and Prince Charles separated in the late 1980s. In 1995 she fell in love with the Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan. On August 31, 1997, the car in which Diana was sitting with her boyfriend at the time crashed into a pillar at excessive speed. Diana died as a result of her internal injuries.
