On the edge of the block we find the portraits of the American astronauts John Glenn and Malcolm Carpenter as well as Gordon Cooper and Walter Schirra. The edition of the block is only 8,000 pieces and another 1,000 with the imprint "Muestra". Block 57, mint never hinged.

On the edge of the block we find the portraits of the American astronauts John Glenn and Malcolm Carpenter as well as Gordon Cooper < / strong>, who took off on May 15, 1983 with the Mercury Atlas 9 rocket for its first space flight. The capsule named & ldquo; Faith 7 & ldquo; orbited the earth a total of 22 times. On August 21, 1965, he took off on board the two-seat Gemini-5 capsule, together with Charles Conrad, on his second space flight and set a new long-term record of 190 hours.

We also find the portrait of Walter Schirra , the only American astronaut who took part in all three space programs, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. On October 3, 1962, the fifth American astronaut took off on a nine-hour flight in his Mercury Atlas 8 rocket; three years later, on October 15, 1965, he flew with Thomas Stafford on board the Gemini-6A capsule on a 14-day space flight. Three years later, on October 11, 1968, he set off on an eleven-day space voyage on board Apollo 7, together with astronauts Eisele and Cunningham.
