The two stamps were issued on July 31, 1978 on the 75th anniversary of the first powered flight. The stamps have a face value of CHF 30 and CHF 50 respectively and bear the black imprint of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
Both values bear the black imprint of the new country name & ldquo; R & eacute; publique F & eacute; d & eacute; rale Islamique des Comores & ldquo ;. The old country name has been scaled out three times.
