Product information "100th birthday of Enzo Ferrari - small sheets of stamps used, catalog no. 1977-1985, Guinea"
On August 20, 1988, the postal administration of Guinea issued this miniature sheet of stamps on the occasion of the international stamp exhibition "ITALIA ‘98", dedicated to the work of the unforgettable Enzo Ferrari. The nine stamps show the Ferrari 166 Inter, the Ferrari 410 Superamerica, the Ferrari 365 GTC4, the Ferrari Dino, the Type 308 GT4, the Ferrari Testarossa and the Ferrari F40. Catalog no. 1977-1985
The Ferrari 166 Inter is a classic that can hardly be found today - and if so, then at prices well over half a million euros. The top model of its time, the Ferrari 410 Superamerica, was already almost 270 km / h at that time. The inconspicuous 12-cylinder Ferrari 365 GTC4, the Ferrari Dino and the Ferrari Type 308 GT4 with its transversely installed 8-cylinder carburettor engine are still a legend today. The Ferrari Testarossa has a 12-cylinder boxer engine and the unique super sports car, the unforgettable Ferrari F40 reaches a top speed of over 325 km / h.
The stamps in the middle show the Ferrari racing legends:
- Gilles Villeneuve
- Juan Manuel Fangio (five-time Formula 1 world champion)
- Michael Schumacher (seven-time world champion)
Other Ferrari drivers are shown on the edge of the block:
- Carlos Reutemann from Argentina
- Jos & eacute; Froilan Gonzales
- Alain Prost (four-time Formula 1 world champion)
